PU faculty member selected for fully funded innovation event in Paris

LAHORE: (Tuesday, March 24, 2026): In a remarkable achievement for Pakistan’s academic community, Punjab University Hailey College of Commerce’s Lecturer Hafiz Fawad Ali, has been selected as a fully funded participant for the prestigious EELISA One Night to Innovate event in Paris, France. He has also been awarded a competitive €1,000 grant to support his participation. The event, hosted by the EELISA European University Alliance, gathers leading educators, students, and innovators from across the globe for an intensive overnight challenge focused on designing impactful solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants collaborate to propose groundbreaking ideas evaluated by top-tier juries, with support from major international partners.
