PU organizes poster presentations on public health LAHORE: (Sunday, March 16, 2025): Punjab University Department of Public Health, under the supervision of Dr Mehnaaz Rashid, organized an event to present public health campaigns aligned with various sustainable development goals. The event aimed to enhance students' understanding of public health interventions and their role in community welfare. Faculty members including Dr Rubeena Zakar, Dr Javeria Saleem, Dr Navid Tahir, and Dr Jaffar Riaz, who commended the students’ efforts and provided valuable insights. Coordinator, In-Charge of the Department of Public Health Dr Nauman Ali Chaudhary facilitated students and motivated them to take such initiatives and engage in meaningful activities. Eleven student groups designed and presented campaigns focusing on SDGs such as good health and well-being, clean water and sanitation, climate action, reduced inequalities, and zero hunger. These campaigns sought to raise awareness and propose solutions for critical public health challenges. The poster presentations provided an interactive platform for students to explain their approaches, receive feedback, and engage in discussions with faculty and peers.
