The University of the Punjab, Lahore intends to solarize its Quaid-e-Azam Campus on an ESCO model and seeks proposals to pre-qualify Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) for financing/investment, design, supply and installation as well as operation and maintenance (O&M;) through competitive bidding process for grid tied solar PV systems.

Firms/Companies/JVs/ legal entities or interested parties, having relevant experience may apply along with all the documents as required in PQD. A complete set of PQD (in English) may be purchased by the interested applicants on submission of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 5000/- in Habib Bank Ltd., University of the Punjab, Quaid-e-Azam Campus in Account No. 18-9103, Lahore, during office working hours.

Interested eligible firms and joint ventures may inspect the PQD from the websites of UOP Lahore (www.pu.edu.pk/) and PPRA for information only and not for prequalification application submission. The applications of only those bidders shall be acceptable who have purchased PQD from the procuring agency. The bid documents are available from date of publication.

Applications for prequalification should be submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly marked, “Application to prequalify for Solarization of UOP, Lahore” and delivered to the address given below February 13, 2023 as per rule 14 (3) of PPRA rules 2014.
