Dr. Nousheen Zaidi (Director, Cancer Research Centre |University of the Punjab), in collaboration with Dr. Ali Usman Qasmi (Associate Professor, LUMS), has received a Social Science Research Council Grant under the program Rapid-Response Grants on Covid-19 and the Social Sciences Recipients. Their project's title is "The One with the Rumour: Diffusion of Covid-19-Related Misinformation in Pakistani Twitter Conversations".  In this project, they will study the content of Pakistan-based Covid-19-related tweets with a specific focus on political content, health-related content, risk framing, and rumors.
