A webinar on Physical  Distancing- The real meaning was arranged by the Institute of Applied  Psychology, University of the Punjab. Ms Mirrat Gul senior psychologist of  Punjab Institute of Cardiology was the resource person. She emphasized that it  is important to live mindfully and in the moment and reawaken oneself to the  present, rather than dwelling on the past or anticipating the future. In times  of pandemic mindfulness can be a tool to avoid self-criticism and can be  helpful in identifying and managing difficult emotions. Faculty, students and  volunteers of Covid-19 Mental health helpline found the session extremely  helpful and learned practical tips to overcome stress, anxiety and depression  and to become more relaxed.  |
